Claire Norman is the Senior Climate and Energy Strategy Officer at Ashford Borough Council, leading on projects that reduce carbon emissions, improve energy efficiency, and promoting renewable energy technologies.
She works with residents, businesses, community groups, and partner organisations to deliver practical climate action initiatives, support local energy planning, and help households reduce both energy costs and their environmental impact.
Through collaboration and engagement, Claire helps drive Ashford’s transition to a more sustainable and resilient future.The QHotels Collection is a selection of 19 hotels and resorts where meaningful connections are part of the experience.

Tom Jenkins is the Economic Development Manager at Ashford Borough Council.
Tom and the Economic Development Team in Ashford have seen considerable growth of the local economy in recent years and are involved in delivering a number of the Council’s key economic development projects including delivery of the AshfordFOR marketing campaign, showcasing Ashford as the number one business location in Kent – as well as coordinating business support programmes such as ScaleUp Ashford, digital infrastructure improvements and town centre support and regeneration.
